Sales Director, Netsize
Poupak Modirassari heads the Netsize sales organization as Sales Director for Northern & Western Europe, Australia and South Africa. In this position she is responsible in these regions for sales and account management in the mobile business and entertainment market sectors, as well as mobile network operator relationships.
Prior to joining Netsize, Poupak worked as Business Developer at Ericsson for secure internet payments and at a Swedish wireless security services provider.

Poupak has been a board member for the Swedish Mobile Services and IT and Telecom Branch association.

 

David GwozdzDavid Gwozdz

Dave Gwozdz has spent much of his career in the emerging media space and since 2008, has been leading the team at Mojiva Inc to develop some of the most cutting-edge mobile advertising solutions in the industry.
Earlier in his career, Gwozdz served as a member of the founding team of DoubleClick, the internet advertising company acquired by Google for $3 billion in March2008. Throughout his time as VP of Sales, he was tasked with developing and implementing their media sales product and sales strategies. In 1995, Dave also founded one of the first online ad networks, Hot Link Media.
Dave previously held various management positions at McGraw-Hill, Ziff Davis and CMP.
Dave regularly shares his experiences in new media at various events and conferences, some of which include: ad:tech, MMA Global's CEO Summit,Intel Elements and AlwaysOn.

Darren has been delivering market and customer insight for over 20 years. His first Board post was in 1997 and he has held similar posts at IRBI and Harris Interactive. Then, in 2002, he co-founded SKOPOS, one of Europe’s fasting growing and leading edge market insight consultancies offering custom, tracking and multi-client research solutions, including the topical SKOPOS MTrack™ service. Indeed, Darren loves all things gadgety, digital and media: his first internet study was in 1995; his first talk on online research in 1996; and his first mobile (SMS and WAP) surveys in 1999 for UK network One2One. Darren has spoken at many conferences around the world for the likes of The Advertising Association, WARC, MRS, ESOMAR, and the Atlantic Internet Marketing forum, is a recognized contributor on matters of Online, Mobile, Media and Digital Research, and in 2003 pioneered RealityResearch via webcams. He has just written the chapter on Mobile for the upcoming Leading Edge Handbook of Market Research (SAGE), and recently spoke in Atlanta, USA on the same matter at the Global Mobile Research Forum. Tom HorseyTom Horsey
Tom Horsey, Senior Partner and co-founder of The Crazy4media Group, specialists in interactive marketing, comprised of a mobile marketing agency (Froggie), a mobile advertising brokerage (Publicidad Interactiva 2006), an online advertising network (Creafi Online Media), a digital video consultancy (Viyoi), and a smartphone application developer (The Mobile Life). James has been involved in mobile technologies and applications for over a decade and has held senior executive positions working across telecoms, mobile, broadcast, IPTV, Social Media and Gambling/Gaming.

At Sprint Media, James is responsible for the strategic & operational leadership of the company's global sales, marketing and services. In addition to driving sales and marketing programs, he also has responsibility for operational improvements of systems, business development, including identification and launch of services in new territories, product development , product & customer support services, branding, advertising, legal & compliance, public relations, market research, relationship marketing, commercial management and supplier/partner management. Sprint Media was founded in 2006 offering a service bureau to international premium rate marketing companies. In 2008 the company diversified into offering a D2C service, now operating across 4 continents with the ability to offer products to over 80 million consumers. Prior to joining ®Sprint Media he held the position of Head of Mobile for CC Media & Jackpot Games, an Adult Media Entertainment and Online Gaming organization. Stephen Upstone has over 15 years experience in advertising and technology markets having previously held senior leadership positions in a variety of venture capital-backed technology start-ups including FirstCapital, Rhythm NewMedia and behavioural targeting and internet personalisation start up, Touch Clarity. Stephen previously has been Co-Chair of the MMA Global Advertising Committee and Member of the IAB Mobile Advertising Committee as well as has held Board of Director positions with Touch Clarity and FirstCapital. He was Managing Director Europe for Ad Infuse when the company was sold to Velti and is now VP of Sales for Europe across Mobile CRM, Marketing, Advertising and Portal products.

 

Gavin McConnon Gavin McConnon
Gavin McConnon is the Co-Founder and Creator of Boxpay.com, a user-friendly billing platform that allows web merchants, game and app developers, social community providers and more the ability to charge consumers for virtual goods through their mobile device. He has 10 years experience working in the telecommunications market and has launched four successful premium rate telecoms businesses including Global Billing Solutions, which has offices in Dublin, Johannesburg, and Sydney with operations and services in over 16 countries.

In 2006, Gavin launched Ireland's first movie download service called Moviestar.ie, an online DVD rental business which was sold to ScreenClick in 2009. Gavin is now one of a handful of visionaries looking to revolutionize the mobile payment industry.

 

Michael de Souza Michael de Souza

Michael heads up BuzzCity’s media team, which aggregates and syndicates content including games, music and video to a global audience of mobile internet users, and also runs the company’s community site, myGamma. Michael has experience in both publishing and agency environments and has developed BuzzCity’s insights into mobile usage to innovate our wider ad network offering.

Prior to heading up the media team Michael was responsible for the management of BuzzCity’s South Africa office, founded in 2009.

Michael’s knowledge of mobile marketing has led to a number of speaking opportunities at global marketing, telecoms and digital content industry events. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and a postgraduate degree in Management from the University of the Witwatersrand Business School, Johannesburg.

A sport fanatic from birth and an Aberdeen Football Club, Scotland supporter and Graeme McDowell fan by choice, Eilidh has a genuine passion for the subject matter and an impressive knowledge of sporting trivia (for a girl).
 
She spent the last 4 years working for leading travel search website Skyscanner as it grew from a small start up to one of the major players in online travel and this experience has led her to start up her own tech company.

At the age of 21 he was assigned Director E-Commerce of Telecom Austria Group. After leaving he joined Deutsche Post as Chief Business Consultant.

In 2009 Mr. Bruckschloegl  started at KWAK Telecom as Vice President Carrier Relations. In October 2010 he was appointed to the board of directors of the KWAK Group.  As COO of the company group and Managing Director of KWAK Telecom Germany, Bruckschloegl runs the operations of the company.

Mr. Bruckschloegl published several books at Thomas Sessler Verlag, Vienna.
